But beyond its signature style and humor, SpongeBob has also endured thanks to its playful musicality, with a number of its original songs (not to mention its earworm of a theme song) bubbling up into the cultural consciousness. In celebration of the ’toon’s most beloved tunes, Enjoy The Toons is reissuing SpongeBob SquarePants: Original Theme Highlights on vinyl in a 500 copy run. The reprint, which comes on limited edition colored vinyl, is available now, exclusively through Enjoy The Ride Records’ web store. To coincide with the release, The A.V. Club and Enjoy The Toons are giving away an exclusive vinyl LP test pressing of SpongeBob SquarePants: Original Theme Highlights, featuring alternate art, which can be seen below:
