A new Thee Oh Sees track helped save an adorable dachshund named Popcorn

“Teacher’s Holiday,” a new track by garage-psych band Thee Oh Sees, has helped save the life of an adorable dachshund named Popcorn. The song comes off The Wiener Dog Comp, a cassette compilation sold to pay for an operation to remove a life-threatening growth from Popcorn’s belly. Label Burger Records has confirmed that sales of The Wiener Dog Comp have already covered the cost of the operation, and all further proceeds will go to the American Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals. So buck up and buy The Wiener Dog Comp, featuring 71 previously unreleased tracks by King Tuff, Redd Kross, Jaill, and White Fang, among others, for only $10. Do it for Popcorn. [via Spin]
