Angela Kinsey is heading to a new, even bleaker office. Deadline reports that the actress has created a new sitcom for TBS, 1-800, based on her own experiences working at a call center. It’s likely (but still unconfirmed) that Kinsey will star as well, which seems like a good fit, given her experiences as a cubicle drone on The Office and as a TBS sitcom actress on Your Family Or Mine. (Kinsey also recently starred in Hulu’s reality spoof The Hotwives Of Las Vegas.) America’s preferred soul-crushing entry-level job for people just relieved not to be working fast food seems like it has lots of comedic potential, and Kinsey can rest easy knowing that, even if things go poorly, it’s virtually impossible she’ll make anything less than the second-worst sitcom ever made about a call center.
