Belle & Sebastian announce new dates with Perfume Genius, Japanese Breakfast, more

Just a few days after the release of the second of three EPs in the band’s How To Solve Our Human Problems trilogy, Belle And Sebastian has announced its 2018 tour will be extending into North America. After finishing up a European tour with the likes of Julien Baker and Jane Weaver, the Glaswegian indie pop stalwarts will play across the U.S. and into Canada and Mexico, starting in Portland, Maine on June 5. An exciting collection of opening acts has been enlisted to tag along including: Michelle Zauner’s solo project Japanese Breakfast, hot off her excellent 2017 album Soft Sounds From Another Planet; the Canadian synthpop band Men I Trust; and Snail Mail, a promising group led by 17-year-old Lindsey Jordan. Plus, Perfume Genius and Frankie Cosmos will be joining the band for a single night at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium on June 8.
