Chicago, win tickets to see Al Pacino in Danny Collins for free

Danny Collins is a new dramedy from Dan Fogelman (writer of Crazy, Stupid, Love and Last Vegas) about an aging crooner who sets out on a journey to right his past wrongs and get his life back on track. Al Pacino plays the elder showman in a role that we said “qualifies as his best and most easygoing film performance in a good decade.” Danny Collins is now playing in theaters nationwide, but The A.V. Club has a special opportunity for Chicagoans to snag a pass to see the movie for free at the AMC River East theater downtown. For your chance to win a ticket, simply follow the link here, answer a question, and enter your information. Tickets are only valid at the AMC River East at 322 E Illinois Street in Chicago, Mondays through Thursdays. An official plot synopsis and trailer can be found below.

“Inspired by a true story, Al Pacino stars as aging 1970s rocker Danny Collins, who can’t give up his hard-living ways. But when his manager (Christopher Plummer) uncovers a 40 year-old undelivered letter written to him by John Lennon, he decides to change course and embarks on a heartfelt journey to rediscover his family, find true love and begin a second act.”
