No one saw this coming: A Reuters/Hollywood Reporter reveals that Mel Brooks is currently producing 13 episodes of Spaceballs: The Animated Series for the G4 network, reviving the 1987 sci-fi parody that starred Bill Pullman, Rick Moranis, and John Candy. Brooks will contribute to the writing and provide two voices. There is no word yet as to who, if anyone, will play the part of Major Asshole.
