It’s surprisingly easy to catch a David Lynch out in the wild with Cheetos. I’ve lead him into the back of a van with a trail of Cheetos. I’ve used Cheetos on a fishing line to catch him (I had to throw him back due to zone regulations). Hell, I once wrote the word “Cheetos” on a piece of cardboard and placed it inside an animal cage trap and he fell for it.
Sometimes David Lynch is an extraterrestrial in a human suit, sometimes he’s the most relatable person on earth.(Has no one cast him as an alien pretending to be human or a human pretending to be an alien? Would it be too on the nose?)

A severed ear works just as well.
