’Tis the damn season to spend time with new and returning shows to wrap up 2022. It’s been an excellent year for TV, and as it comes to a close there are still major releases on the way. The Witcher universe expands on Netflix, while the streamer also adds a new spy drama starring Noah Centineo. To no one’s surprise, Paramount+ is dropping another Yellowstone spin-off with big names in the cast. And look out for highly anticipated new episodes of Slow Horses and His Dark Materials, among other shows.

Love Slow Horses. It slyly bills itself as a comedy, but works great as a thriller. That happens to be really funny. Especially when Gary Oldman is insulting people.

I have so many feelings about Kindred I’m not sure whether to let my hopes run wild or approach it with caution/anticipation of being disappointed. It is one of my favorite books. Given away five copies, and gave my father-in-law a new copy—the story really moved and enthralled him. I think I’ll just…try to keep an open mind and pray they stay true to the, spirit, I suppose, of Octavia Butler’s story.

Anyone else remember when AVClub was a great place to read TV and movie reviews? Now it is just another list site.

Haven’t seen any of the Yellowstone shows so far, but anything with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren in it, I’m going to have to see, unless reviews are not good.
