Evangeline Lilly celebrates Jack Kirby's birthday with Ant-Man And The Wasp pic

Today would’ve been the 100th birthday of legendary comic book creator Jack Kirby, and while he didn’t live to see so many of the creations that publishers refused to pay him for hit the big screen, some of the people involved in making movies about his creations are still setting time aside today to honor his work. Ant-Man And The Wasp star Evangline Lilly is one such person, and she—or at least Marvel Studios, through her Twitter account—decided to honor Kirby’s legacy by revealing a new photo of what Hope Van Dyne will look like in the Ant-Man sequel once she suits up.

The outfit looks a bit more muted than most of The Wasp’s costumes in the comics, as is to be expected in a live-action movie, but it does look fairly faithful otherwise—although her helmet and wings aren’t pictured, since Marvel has to hold something back for the trailers.
