Florida Mulls Lizard King Pardon

Aux Features Newswire

As reported by AP, Florida Governor Charlie Crist is considering granting a pardon to Jim Morrison 38 years after the Doors singer's legendary conviction for whipping it out on stage during a 1969 concert in Coconut Grove, Florida. Morrison maintained his innocence until his death in 1971, when his case was still on appeal. According to the article, Crist has admitted he's willing to review the case in light of the fact that both he and Morrison attended the same school, Florida State University. That, and Crist lost his virginity while listening to "Riders On The Storm."
