Apple’s schoolmarmish distaste for the naked female form could reach its inevitable end sooner than you think: Playboy founder Hugh Hefner used The Twitter last night to announce that March will see the debut of new and archival issues of the gentleman’s boob-rag on the iPad in their fully “uncensored” form. If true, it’s a change of heart for Apple, which has a history of banning apps deemed too explicit from its store (leaving the current Playboy app a tame and neutered affair indeed), and a possible indication that the company is finally looking to introduce more restricted, “adults only” fare.
