Singer-songwriter Margo Price started writing her new album Strays during a drug-fueled trip to South Carolina and recorded it during a week-long visit to California’s Topanga Valley. Co-produced by Angel Olsen/Father John Misty collaborator Jonathan Wilson, featuring vocals from Sharon Van Etten and Lucius, and guitar parts from the Heartbreakers’ Mike Campbell, Strays is Price’s most collaborative and varied work to date, continuing her evolution from country singer to genre-spanning classicist rock star extraordinaire.
