Jessica Williams has a great Tinder date strategy in the teaser for The Incredible Jessica James. Don’t “love the whole vibe of this interaction”? Simply shut it down. She also appears to be an expert at curbing the trend of manspreading on the subway. The upcoming Netflix comedy from writer/director Jim Strouse features the former Daily Show correspondent in her first leading role, and follows her character, a playwright, as she falls for a divorced man played by Chris O’Dowd after a break-up. O’Dowd doesn’t show up in this first look, but there’s a lot of wonderful dancing.
The Incredible Jessica James premiered at Sundance and hits Netflix July 28.
