R.I.P. Gary Graham, Star Trek: Enterprise and Alien Nation actor

Gary Graham, best known for his roles in multiple Star Trek titles as well as a starring role in Fox’s Alien Nation, has died. According to his wife, Becky Graham, Graham died of cardiac arrest in a hospital in Spokane, Washington (via The Hollywood Reporter). Becky was by Graham’s side when he died, as confirmed in a Facebook message posted early Tuesday morning by his ex-wife Susan Lavelle. “Gary was funny, sarcastic sense of humor but kind, fought for what he believed in, a devout Christian and was so proud of his daughter, Haylee,” Lavella wrote. Disney and Marvel Studios’ decision to bring back Charlie Cox’s Daredevil for a new series called Daredevil: Born Again has been a real roller coaster for fans of Netflix’s Daredevil series. Benny Safdie confirms The Curse’s ending was “always the ending”

There has been and will be a lot to say about the ending of The Curse. Benny Safdie and Nathan Fielder’s 10-episode horror-comedy about the intersection of gentrification and reality TV seemingly tells you everything you need to know. Asher was cursed and, therefore, must be ejected from Earth. In a twist worthy of Shyamalan, his passive house sensed a new occupant (his baby) and did what it does best: Reduce unnecessary energy, e.g. Asher. It makes sense. Still, many remain flummoxed by the sudden and horrific burst of magical realism. “They just didn’t know how to end this thing,” says the strawman naysayer.
