Time marches on. Babies are born, social media companies rise and fall, and actors find new jobs.

This week was a big week for Hollywood. Fresh off the heels of CinemaCon, audiences got a peek at many projects already in development. While that mostly meant getting to see things that had already cemented their casts, there still were a few surprises—take Chris Pine’s inclusion in Disney’s upcoming feature Wish, for example. But there was plenty happening outside of the ‘Con, too, with shows like Frasier, American Horror Story, and House Of The Dragon snagging some new faces.

Robert DeNiro has joined a TV project before, when David O. Russell was making one for Amazon Prime. That just never came together though.

During the lockdown I rewatched the entire run of “Frasier” and remember thinking at the time what an unappreciated asset Gilpin was to the show. She absolutely nailed the character and was very much a linchpin for the show yet never got the recognition she deserved only because while she was rock solid the rest of the supporting cast were utterly brilliant. That said, while I’m glad she’ll be getting the paycheck there’s no way in hell I’ll be watching this show.

“2005’s memorable Fantastic Four remake.”As much as I respect Roger Corman’s career, I don’t think we need count the 1994 copyright-retention rush job as the source material of any subsequent FF films. I’ll cop to “reboot”, but the 2005 movie’s certainly not a remake of anything. Also: “memorable”? Was it, though?

The darkness was absolute. The old haunted house was completely silent, but for the faint sound of the wind howling through the broken windows. A musty smell hung in the air, like something had died and been left to rot.As I took a step forward, the floorboards creaked and groaned beneath my weight. The sensation of something slimy brushed against my leg, causing me to jump back in terror. I couldn’t see a thing, but the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end as I listened to the sound of scratching coming from the shadows. The smell of decay grew stronger as I ventured further into the house, my heart racing with fear. Suddenly, I felt a cold, clammy hand reach out and grab my wrist. I tried to pull away, but the grip tightened, and I heard a low, guttural growl emanating from the darkness.I could feel something breathing on the back of my neck, hot and fetid. The smell of decay was overwhelming now, making me gag. The growling turned into a manic laughter that echoed through the empty halls of the haunted house. As I stumbled backwards, trying to escape the terror that surrounded me, I felt something brush past my leg again. This time, I realized it was a rat, gnawing on a piece of decaying flesh. I could hear the crunching of its teeth as it devoured its gruesome meal. The laughter grew louder and more deranged, and the stench of death became overpowering. I was surrounded by a world of horror that I could not escape, where every sound and smell and touch was a terror beyond imagination. In that moment, I knew that I was not alone in the darkness. Something evil lurked within the haunted house, waiting to consume me. And as the laughter continued to ring in my ears, I realized that I might never make it out alive. Why in the hell had I thought consoling Tucker Carlson was a good idea?

It’s not “Ridley Scott’s adaptation” of his own movie if he’s making it himself. It’s a sequel or prequel.Love Peri Gilpin and happy to have Roz back, but that pic went too tight on her close-up for no reason.Relay sounds like Michael Clayton.

BTW, is it just me, or are some articles not generating a comment section? The Severance article in particular just doesn’t have a comment section. Weird, but not at all surprising given how the owner fucked this website to death.
