Killer Mike is an agent of havoc in the trailer for his new Netflix series, Trigger Warning
Aux Features Killer Mike“Anything that doesn’t help black people needs to be burned the fuck down now,” Killer Mike says at the top of the Trigger Warning trailer. The rapper’s six-part Netflix series will find him conducting a different “social experiment” in each episode, the likes of which include advocating for a black Jesus and helping the Crips brand their own line of soda.
Though comedy is clearly at the forefront of the series, a press release notes that Killer Mike’s aim is to “confront important social issues and misconceptions that impact the black community.” And, by the looks of the trailer, it appears he’ll recruit and alienate people from various points of the racial spectrum along the way.
Also, El-P guest stars, which rules.
Trigger Warning With Killer Mike hits Netflix on January 18. Watch the trailer above.

Bro, chill
I feel white genocidededed already!!!
You lost me at “social experiment”.
no one cares what you think
I suspect they lost you at social.
“Anything that doesn’t help black people needs to be burned the fuck down now”Like… the NRA?
This will have about as much impact as the “Mermaids are real” specials on Animal Planet.
SOMEONE hasn’t seen Mako Mermaids…
an H2O adventure?
Back in my stoner days, I caught that mermaid special right in the middle, at like 2 in the morning, and guess what, there was a magical 10 minutes, where the world was brand new, and suddenly, I was being told mermaids exist.
Stay the fuck home, Mike.
C’mon fragile white people in the comments, the trigger warning is right in the title. Try to not get too worked up already.
only thing i’m triggered by is that weak as fuck title. calling your edgy comedy series “trigger warning” would be a feeble grasp for relevancy in 2017.
Oh god, a hacky conservative buzz-word! I’m so scared!
not gonna lie, this shit seems pretty whack, Mike
It’s ‘wack’.
between this and like joe rogan and owen benjamin and dennis miller using some variant of trigger warning/triggered for things gesturing in the vague direction of funny i think netflix owes me four million dollars to produce “take (boart voice) my wife, please” for 2021
This comes off so stupid that it undoes any good he’s trying to do.
Remind me: have the NRA confronted the police about Philando Castile yet?
This is gonna suck
It’s gonna be the best movie ever made.Prove me wrong!
I love his music, but I’m not sure I want to know more about the artist because it might ruin his music for me. I heard a few of his songs on the radio when I was in juvy for 18 months around 2003, and when I got out around a year later I made sure to buy his CD and still have it around somewhere.
Killer Mike took a picture with me and Party Bear at a yacht rock event. That’s all I’ve got.
When does Party Bear get his own Netflix show?
A yacht rock event? Was Koko’s ghost perswaded to attend?
I’m a fan of Killer Mike and RTJ, so I’ll be checking for this show.
“helping the Crips brand their own line of soda.”Lol
Yah, personally I only drink BloodsWater(tm).
General response to all the inevitable firing off of the NRA aha-gotcha comments:
“I did an interview about black gun ownership in this era,” Mike said in
his statement. “That interview was used a week later to disparage a
very noble campaign that I actually support [March for Our Lives] … I want to say first I’m
sorry guys. I do support the March — and I support black people owning guns. It’s possible to do both.”
Carry on.
(heh, get it?)
“social experiment”Dammit, Mike. This shit is for YouTube assholes. Why lower yourself?
Vernon Chatman Co created this, so if that doesn’t motivate y’all nothing can
