Lana Del Rey's legal dispute with Radiohead has apparently been settled

In January, a confusing and weird legal battle popped up when Lana Del Rey declared that Radiohead was trying to sue her for allegedly ripping off “Creep” with her song “Get Free.” She said she had offered the band 40 percent ownership, but she claimed its lawyers were “relentless” and would only accept 100 percent. Then, Radiohead’s publisher Warner/Chappell denied that it was filing a lawsuit, even though it had been “talking with Del Rey’s team.”

Whatever was going on there, it has apparently been cleared up. According to Stereogum, Del Rey performed “Get Free” during her set at Lollapalooza Brazil, and at the end of the song she announced, “Now that my lawsuit’s over, I guess I can sing that song anytime I want.” There never was a lawsuit, as far as we know, but Del Rey seems confident that this thing has now been cleared up.
