Twitter, seemingly desperate to kill everything that makes people enjoy using it, has just announced a drastic new change: increasing the current 140-character tweet limit to 280.
While the limit increase doesn’t seem like a very big deal on its surface, we as human beings must always, like all technological pioneers from Frankenstein to the Oracle at Musk, consider the potential harm this move could bring.
First up is the obvious one: continuing to ignore endemic harassment issues that make the site unusable for many.
