The new Chuck Lorre-produced Netflix comedy, The Kominsky Method, follows two best friends—Sandy Kominsky (Michael Douglas), a semi-successful former actor turned acting coach, and Norman (Alan Arkin), his agent and confidant—as they navigate the ups and downs of getting older. In honor of the new series, we played a game with Douglas and Arkin that we’re calling “What does that prescription drug do?” The rules are simple: We give them a name of a prescription drug commonly given to older men and they have to tell us what it does.
