Netflix knows people love a thrilling mindfuck and Behind Her Eyes, the latest awaited thriller, is set to premiere on February 17.
Based on the hit novel by Sarah Pinborough, Behind Her Eyes is about a single mother named Louise (Simona Brown), who works as a secretary and falls for her psychiatrist boss, David (Tom Bateman). But he’s married to the seemingly perfect Adele (Eve Hewson). Things start to get strange when Louise ends up befriending Adele and unravels some deep, dark secrets.
The trailer has a similar feel to Netflix’s recent thriller I’m Thinking Of Ending Things and we’ll just say that much like that other Netflix original, it’s far better if you don’t read the book and embrace all the surprises.

I hate not knowing things while watching TV shows (yes, I’m the Brit who used to read recaps of US TV shows when we didn’t get them until months afterwards) and so. Have just bought the book.
The ending to this book is one of the most frustrating twists I can recall. At least it’s memorable, which elevates it slightly above most of these generic thrillers.
I AGREE! I blew through this book in a day (bargain bin at B&N pick) and it was solid…until the ending, which just annoyed me while also leaving me deeply unsettled. But not in a good way, in a “wtf, THIS is how it all ends?” way.
Tome Bateman? Pretty sure his name is just Tom. Like, the way you would normally spell Tom. (Great villain in Cold Pursuit, btw).
I had my doubts, but it looks like Eve Hewson is slowly building a solid career and stepping away from being “Bono’s daughter.”
Man, fuck the six hours I wasted on this.
