Following the success of HBO’s Big Little Lies, which soon kicks off its second season, David E. Kelley and Nicole Kidman are again teaming up with Australian author Liane Moriarty for a new series. This one, however, is heading to Hulu, where Kelley and Edge Of Tomorrow writer John-Henry Butterworth will bring Moriarty’s 2018 novel Nine Perfect Strangers to life.

Kelley and Butterworth will serve as showrunners on the series, which follows a health-and-wellness resort director played by Kidman as she strives to provide “healing and transformation” to “nine stressed city dwellers” who, per a press release, “have no idea what is about to hit them.” Is it a vaginal egg? Please don’t be a vaginal egg.

Nine Perfect Strangers, like the streamer’s newly-announced Marvel originals Ghost Rider and Helstrom, is slated to premiere next year.

I really wish they hadn’t made “Big Little Lies 2.” Couldn’t they have just taken that terrific cast and found something else to make together?A repertory style approach when you get Kidman, Witherspoon, Dern, etc. in a show every year or two would have been fucking gold.
