Summer movie season is upon us, which means a whole bunch of new trailers are here too. There’s a wide range of films on the horizon, from Yorgos Lanthimos’ new feature Poor Things, the Rachel Sennott and Ayo Ebediri-starring comedy Bottoms, and Exped4able, which is simply a fun way to spell Expendables 4.
On the TV side, Ahsoka and The Summer I Turned Pretty debuted new teasers, while we got our best look yet at the second season of The Afterparty. Check out the rest of the trailers here.

EXPEND4BLESI didn’t know Sly checked the AVC comment section for movie title ideas.
I remember being so disappointed by that first Expendables movie. The only action scene worth a damn was Jet Li fighting Dolph Lundgren.
You’ve gotta give it credit for being the only movie that acknowledged Dolph’s masters in chemical engineering, his true passion.
Sly’s plastic surgeon should have been expendable.
No love for Jurassic Park’s 30th Anniversary today? Jurassic Park released exactly 30 years ago today on June 11th 1993. The special effects still hold up and look better than most CG effects we see in movies today imo
If that’s what they made Emma Stone look like for Poor Things, I don’t know why you don’t just save some money and cast Cara Delevingne.
Probably because they wanted someone who at least knows how to act
Presumably because the ability to act was also needed.
Ruby Rose’s agent: “Well, shit.”
I dunno… “act weird and not-quite-human in a British accent” kinda sounds like she might do ok with it. And jut watching the trailer, I actually thought it WAS Cara Delevigne for a second.
It had me at “Men In Black typeface”:
The whole point of the Expendables was to put together a vehicle for yesterday’s action stars… People like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Van Damme. With some others like Statham and Terry Crews mixed in to keep the thing from feeling like a total retirement home field trip. Now Stallone is still limping around, and Dolph is the only other “old guard” guy left with him. So it’s just another generic garbage DTV-level actioner.
