Pussy Riot announces its first-ever U.S. tour

As reported by Pitchfork, Russian feminist punk band Pussy Riot has announced its first-ever U.S. tour of “live music performance art.” The group announced the tour with an Instagram post, and while it doesn’t hint at what the “performance art” angle of these shows will be, it seems very safe to assume that Pussy Riot’s going to have some stuff to say about Donald Trump. After all, Pussy Riot did put out an explicitly anti-Trump video for a song called “Make America Great Again” just before that asshole won the actual election and a dystopian nightmare video for a song called “Police State” on the anniversary of the election, so it should be interesting to see what else they’ve been planning.
