The Queer Eye gang’s personal brands continue to explode, with Antoni Porowski developing a series with Kenya Barris, Tan France hosting Netflix’s Next In Fashion, and Bobby Berk making over your Animal Crossing dumps. They’re not leaving their day job anytime soon, though, as today Netflix has announced that a new season of Queer Eye will premiere on June 5.

The location? Philadelphia. Above and below, see some first look pics from the season, which will no doubt find them tasked with classing up some slovenly, shit-posting Eagles fan.

(Kudos to Antoni’s The National stanning, which somehow hasn’t tempered in five seasons.)

The Fab Five will head to Texas for their sixth outing, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Instead, enjoy the official poster for the Philly season ahead of its debut next month.

Some thoughts:My pandemic-ravaged soul needs some Fab 5 right now. Shoot it directly into my veins.Am delighted by the poster. It just makes me smile.Am eternally envious of Karamo’s calf muscles. I don’t know who The National are, thus confirming how completely old and out of the zeitgeist I am. The National are a band best known for broody sad songs and covers of Bob’s Burgers ditties.

I can safely guarantee you that this marks the beginning and the end of all of the knowledge I will ever acquire about The National. Because I am an old. Also because I am old: I will have forgotten this information by Saturday.

And now I have their version of sailors in your mouth stuck in my head.

I’m a huge fan of the National, so I’d recommend you check ‘em out, particularly the albums ‘Boxer’ and ‘High Violet’.I also agree about ‘Queer Eye’ positivity. Watching them is like being hugged through a screen.

I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Next in Fashion’ There was some great design work, no overly “wacky” challenges, and very little interpersonal drama. It just focused on the clothes. Plus, Tan is my favourite of the Five, so more of him is always welcome.

I’ve been burnt out on Project Runway for years, so I was a little hesitant to try Next in Fashion but I’m so glad I did.  It felt like a nice breath of fresh air and what I wanted from a fashion design show.
