Robyn finally confirms new album, Honey, out next month

It’s been eight long years since Robyn’s career-defining Body Talk LPs, and though she’s released a handful of collaborative singles and shorter projects in the meantime, the wait for a new solo full-length from the Swedish pop artist is almost over: Honey will arrive October 26 via Interscope and Robyn’s own label, Konichiwa. In addition to previously released songs “Honey” (which premiered on an episode of Girls last year) and last month’s “Missing U,” the album will feature work with Metronomy’s Joseph Mount, Kindess’ Adam Bainbridge, Mr. Tophat, Zhala, and longtime collaborator Klas Ålund. In a statement, Robyn said Honey represents “this sweet place, like a very soft ecstasy. Something that’s so sensual, and so good. I danced a lot when I was making it. I found a sensuality and a softness that I don’t think I was able to use in the same way before. Everything just became softer.”
