Sam Smith announces summer tour, probably playing Lollapalooza

Sam Smith is set to plaintively warble his way across North America. The “Stay With Me” singer has announced a summer run of arena and amphitheater dates, including stops at the Gorge Amphitheatre, Toyota Center, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The dates, below, also contain a conspicuous and Midwestern-centric gap in early August, right around when Lollapalooza will take place. The lineup for that fest hasn’t been announced yet, but savvy plotters can use these dates to do their own sleuthing.

Tickets for Smith’s tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 27. To date, Smith has sold 5 million copies of his record, In The Lonely Hour, worldwide.
