Stream Parquet Courts' new EP Tally All The Things That You Broke

Aux Features Music

Parquet Courts' second album Light Up Gold—first released on frontman Andrew Savage’s tiny label Dull Tools last summer, but reissued on What’s Your Rupture? this past January—is one of the best straightforward rock albums of the past few years. The band spent the summer touring—including a great stop at the Pitchfork Music Festival in July—and just released a new five-track EP to satiate the demand for more songs. Tally All The Things That You Broke is more delightfully rough garage rock, with lead track “You’ve Got Me Wonderin’ Now” featuring a recorder that follows along with the vocal melody (and alo sounds a bit like Danny & The Juniors’ “At The Hop”). Stream the full EP below before it's officially out on October 8.
