Stream the vivid new album by Set And Setting

Aux Features Music

Like most things that get detonated, heavy metal is an outward force. But it can and often does aim itself inward—as is the case with Set And Setting. The Florida band’s upcoming, post-rock-leaning full-length, A Vivid Memory (which is being streamed in its entirety here) is an instrumental sprawl of an album that sets its sights somewhere just behind the barricade of identity and consciousness. Meditative, emotive, and melodic, it’s the kind of record that lulls, levels, and unlocks secrets at the same time.

A Vivid Memory will be released September 2 via Prosthetic Records.
