The best movie lines resound through cinematic history. They sum up a character’s development, the purpose of a story, or make a scene instantly memorable. Some, by referring to their film’s title, encapsulate their movie in an instant. “Forget it, Jake. It’s Chinatown,” plays in the head of viewers every time the movie’s mentioned. Vincent D’Onofrio holding his rifle in an empty bathroom, robotically speaking Full Metal Jacket’s name, is shorthand for the movie’s portrayal of military dehumanization.

A new Twitter account called Titular Lines has dedicated itself to collecting every (100 percent legitimate) instance of a film’s name being spoken aloud, creating an ever-growing library of the best examples.

Once again, it’s completely accurate. If you don’t remember these lines, it’s your own shitty memory’s fault.
