Former A.V. Club Denver city editor and current A.V. Club master contributor Jason Heller has been nominated for a Hugo Award, the most prestigious award in the science-fiction world. Heller was nominated as part of the team behind Clarkesworld, an online SF/fantasy magazine where he served as non-fiction editor in 2012. Heller and his colleagues were nominated for "Best Semiprozine," so please congratulate him next time you're in Colorado or on the Internet. We have long known that Jason is a fantastic writer, from his excellent work writing here to his debut novel, Taft 2012. So even if you're sitting silently at your desk with headphones on, please clap loudly, right now.
