If you’ve played the Tomb Raider video game reboot from 2013, then you don’t really need to watch this trailer for the Tomb Raider movie reboot starring Alicia Vikander. You might enjoy seeing her doing some stunts and introducing herself as Lara Croft, but everything else is so faithful to that very good video game that you’ve probably seen it already. If you aren’t familiar with Croft’s digital adventures, though, then this trailer should be a fun and surprising reintroduction to the tomb-raiding world of Lara Croft. Also, Daniel Wu, Nick Frost, and Walton Goggins are there, which is a step up from the non-celebrity cast of the video game, anyway.
Tomb Raider was directed by Roar Uthaug, and it’ll be in theaters in March of 2018.
