From what I’ve observed, commenters are showing their dissatisfaction with these videos by refusing to watch them and by also refusing to leave comments. So when I see one of these click-bait ‘features’ with zero comments – not unlike seeing an empty parking lot outside of a Starbucks – I feel like we are dealing with the situation effectively.And since I’m already here, breaking my own rule: the Lifetime channel is presenting a biopic about the Gabby Petito tragedy. It’s a disgrace, imo, and the Petito family is not happy, to say the least.
I refuse to press play on these f***ing videos simply because your player sucks donkey balls. there is no way to adjust the volume in the video so you get blasted at full volume unless you prepare ahead of time. I can’t even hit the CC, it doesn’t work.
Not only that, but the video offers zero content not contained in the narration. There is no reason for this to be a video, from a consumer’s perspective.IIf they need to capture visitors who will only watch video, whats wrong with an article with the video at the top?This site has gone from one of the greatest pop culture commentary sites of all time to just a trash clickbait farm. They’ve even managed to ruin the old content, by destroying the ability to view reviews by season. God forbid ever need to see the season one reviews from a 12 season show – you’ll get carpal tunnel from clicking “Show More”.
