Watch The A.V. Club kick some cyborg ass with Weta Digital and the Alita: Battle Angel team

Based on the cyberpunk manga from Yukito Kishiro, Alita: Battle Angel follows an abandoned cyborg (Rosa Salazar) with no memory of her previous life as she attempts to outrun deadly forces from her past. Weta Digital, the New Zealand-based visual effects company responsible for bringing Alita to life, was kind enough to invite us to their headquarters to talk about the upcoming film. While in their workshop, director Robert Rodriguez and Weta’s visual effects team talked us through the motion-capture process used for Alita and had us suit up to kick some cyborg ass.
