The Veil (FX on Hulu, Tuesday, 12:01 a.m.)
In FX’s political thriller The Veil, Elisabeth Moss plays ruthless MI6 agent Imogen Salter, whose mission is to travel with a suspected ISIS commander, Adilah (Yumna Marwan), from Syria to France and thwart the terrorist attack she may or may not be planning. The Idea Of You (Prime Video, Thursday, 12:01 a.m.)
The sexy rom-com resurgence continues with The Idea Of You, led by Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galatzine. They portray unexpected lovers who meet—of all places—at Coachella. Forty-year-old Solène takes her teen to the music festival and bumps into Hayes Campbell, the lead singer of a boy band. He’s a famous 24-year-old, so naturally, their relationship is met with public and media scrutiny. The cast also includes Ella Rubin, Reid Scott, and Annie Mumolo. Here’s a bit from The A.V. Starring one of the best actresses of her generation delivering one of her finest performances, and filled with a sincere sense of passion that will have eager audiences humming in their seats, it’s one of the best romantic comedies we’ve seen in quite a while.
Hacks (Max, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)
Jean Smart can do no wrong, especially in the brilliant comedy series Hacks, which is back for season three. The show picks up a year after the events of the second batch, with Deborah Vance at the peak of her comedy career. Ava (Hannah Einbinder), meanwhile, pursues different opportunities. The A.V. Hidden gems
My Next Guest With David Letterman And John Mulaney (Netflix, Tuesday, 3:01 a.m.)
My Next Guest With John Letterman returns with, well, his next guest: John Mulaney. Based on the sneak peek, the episode looks like a fun time considering it’s filmed in Mulaney’s Chicago high school. What a place for both comedians to talk about fatherhood, addiction, and their love of stand-up, right?
Shardlake (Hulu, Wednesday, 12:01 a.m.)
Based on C.J. Sansom’s historical novels, Shardlake boasts a cast that includes Sean Bean, so let’s hope his character makes it of this thing out alive. In this Tudor-era drama, he plays English statesman Thomas Cromwell, who sends lawyer Matthew Shardlake (Arthur Hughes) to investigate the mysterious death of a commissioner in a remote town.
Turtles All The Way Down (Max, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)
John Green’s Turtles All The Way Down gets a movie adaptation on Max. In it, 16-year-old Aza Holmes (Isabela Merced), who struggles with OCD, reconnects with her childhood crush and deals with the possibility of finding love while confronting her mental health.

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar (Netflix, Wednesday, 3:01 a.m.)
Created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, one of India’s most celebrated filmmakers, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar looks lavish AF. (Peep at the sets, costumes, and all that gold in the trailer above.) The 10-episode series, which takes place during the country’s independence movement against the British, depicts the lives of courtesans and their contribution to the fight.
A Man In Full (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)
David E. Kelley simply won’t stop making TV shows with a big-name actors. His latest, A Man In Full, stars Jeff Daniels, Diane Lane, William Jackson Harper, Tom Pelphrey, Sarah Jones, Lucy Liu, Chanté Adams, and Bill Camp. In the series, Daniels portrays an Atlanta real-estate mogul who has to defend his empire when he faces sudden bankruptcy. The A .V. Club’s review of the show publishes this week.
The Tattoist Of Auschwitz (Peacock, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)
The Tattooist of Auschwitz is inspired by the true story of Lale (Jonah Hauer-King ) and Gita Sokolov (Anna Próchniak), who fall in love at first sight in a concentration camp while under constant guard. Sixty years later, an older Lale (played by Harvey Keitel), narrates his history to writer Heather Morris (Melanie Lynskey).
