Somebody in Brooklyn got the bright idea to dress their dog up as This American Life host Ira Glass for a Halloween dog costume contest, because dressing our pets for holidays is a thing that we do now. It was a pretty good likeness, and the dog won this year’s “Pupkins.” The dog also seemed to particularly enjoy being in character.
Appreciating the homage, Glass returned the compliment this Halloween. Straight from This American Life’s blog, for your viewing pleasure, is Peabody award-winning Ira Glass, dressed as Pupkin award-winning dog, dressed as National Public Radio host Ira Glass.
Somewhere, planning has already started for the perfect Terry Gross-themed chihuahua costume.
