This was a pretty huge week for casting news. Glenn Close and Henry Winkler are working on a comedy together, Zach Cregger’s Weapons added Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, and more to its already stacked cast, and Missy Elliott joined Pharrell Williams’ still-untitled coming-of-age musical. Beyond that, films continue to vie for buyers out of the Cannes market later this month.

, Bridges told the hosts that he was “heading off Saturday” to film his part in Ares. that he recorded the podcast “a while ago” and already wrapped on Tron. Bridges promised that his next appearance in the world of Tron wouldn’t use the same de-aging effects. The actor claims those made him look too much like Bill Maher.
